Our class thought it was a great movie. It showed great characters and good acting between the siblings. It also showed friendship, courage and love. The music set a scary mood making it a perfect Halloween scare!

It was a very good movie. Every minute of the film was exciting. It was realistic because the kids were using their imagination to spook themselves. We think you did a great job. Thank you for letting us screen your short film.

Great storytelling. It was a little creepy especially when the tree branch was reaching for Rebecca. It was so real. It felt like we were there with Rebecca and John. We like how the storyline of the film stayed true to the book. Thank you for letting us view your short film.

It was spectacular. It had our hearts pounding. The music and the surroundings made the film scarier than the book. We liked how the film stayed true to the book. Thank you for letting us screen your movie.

We love the short film. It had more detail than the book. It had a lot of cool special effects like when the tree went to reach for Rebecca. The music gave the film and eerie mood. It was the best and our first short film we have ever seen.

I enjoyed the details and special effects in your movie. They were outstanding. You captured the mood and imagination of the author and characters in the Ghost Eye Book. The students in our Roadrunner High School enjoyed the viewing so much they clapped at the end of the movie. We appreciate all of your efforts to produce and direct the movie. Outstanding! Thanks so much for allowing us to see it.

The four 2nd grade classes that watched the movie Nov. 18 & 19, 2010 just loved it. They loved the music and the tree limb that reached out for Rebecca. Also, when Rebecca told John about the legend of the ghost eye tree they liked how she was trying to scare John, but ended up getting scared herself. They liked how brother and sister took care of one another.

Thank you so much for allowing me to show it all week to my 2nd graders. It is a terrific movie and I think Bill Martin, Jr. would be proud of it. I look forward to purchasing the movie to use each year along with the book. I heard Bill Martin, Jr. tell the story several years ago in person and he gave me goosebumps. I have him telling it on video which I show each year to give the students and author to book connection. Thanks again.

We are so thankful we were able to view this wonderful movie! Our third and fourth graders did a literature unit on the book and were so excited to discover a short film had been made. They LOVED the way the music added suspense. A favorite part for all was when the tree was reaching out for the girl. A very lively discussion was held after the viewing. Thank you so much!!
